Best Accommodation in Manaus
During our recent trip to Manaus, a friend recommended that we stay over during our week in Rio Negro Guest House. What a great recommendation that was, with friendly and accommodating staff always ready and willing to go out of their way to make our stay even more luxurious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was fast and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome and they even changed the menu to accommodate my wife who is a full Vegan. We had a great time visiting the monuments in the area and did not even have to drive as everything we wanted to see was within short walking distance to the guesthouse.

We went to an Amazon break away recently and stayed over on our way to our destination and again on our way back. We simply had to stay there when were going back home as our stay there the first time was unforgettable. I love the fact that the owners are multi-lingual and could understand us perfectly, and had great recommendations of places to see in the area. I will surely stay there again when I am in the area.

Rio Negro Guest House is Tops!
What a quaint and relaxing place to spend a few days when we went to our recent trip to Brazil. We were on our way to see friends and someone recommended that we could not go wrong by booking in at this lovely and relaxing guesthouse. Lovely accommodation and great food, with large bedrooms, calm beautiful verandas to watch people go by. I love the fact that we parked our car right in front of the guesthouse and did not need to use it once, as Rio Negro is right in the middle of town and within walking distance to great restaurants, attractions and more.

Affordable Luxury in the Heart of Town
We had a great week’s stay at Rio Negro and the owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. We arranged with them to be picked up by separate transport, but the owners fetched us at the airport and dropped us off again when we left. They have large comfortable rooms, great food and we could not have had a better stay elsewhere for sure. I will stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great Stay during Our Company Trip
As event manager for https://bahistanbul1.com/, I often arrange weekend trips and team building events. After looking for a destination that will inspire us, I decided on Rio Negro Guest House in Manaus’s city center. It is ideally located with all the attractions within walking distance and a cultural and art lovers dream destinations. Amazing ambience and great people with luxury accommodations, rooms with full amenities and air-conditioned. Delectable breakfasts in the spacious breakfast room, lounging in the lobby and verandas made our stay recommendable for sure!

2 wunderbare Wochenenden haben wir im Januar 2010 bei dir verbracht. Die Lage der Pousada ist einmalig! Auch deine Gastfreundlichkeit hat uns beeindruckt. Es waren schöne Abende auf dem Balkon! Sobald ich die Möglichkeit habe, werde ich wieder nach Manaus kommen. ich war vor kurzem auch in dem Hotel und ich fand es war ausgezeichnet – kann mich über nichts beschweren.

We had a lovely time at this place. The breakfast with fruits is so nice and the bedroom so confortable. Rita is a lovely person who gives so much attention for us and made us feel like at home. Adoramos a pousada. É um lugar antigo e aconchegante, de quartos amplos e confortáveis. O clima informal da pousada traz ainda mais conforto aos dias de estadia. Os passeios monitorados são repletos de informações e detalhes locais que enriquecem o passeio e o conhecimento sobre o local. Estamos muito felizes pelo tempo passado na Pousada e recomendamos a todos.

Hallo Friedrich
wir waren im Februar 09 2x in Eurem Rio Negro Guesthouse. Das 1 x kamen wir unangemeldet, hatten den Geheimtyp Eurer Pousada von einer Reisebekanntschaft im tiefen Amazonas-Dschungel erhalten. Obwohl kein Zimmer mehr frei war, hattest Du uns deine privaten Räumlichkeiten angeboten für eine Dusche. Unser Gepäck durften wir während einer Wochen bei Dir lassen, damit wir dieses während einer weiteren Dschungel-Safari nicht mitnehmen mussten.
Beim 2. Besuch hast Du auf uns gewartet, obwohl wir uns wegen dem Amazonas-Schiff um 7 Stunden verspätet hatten. Friedrich, Du warst uns eine grosse Hilfe beim Umbuchen unseres Rückfluges und hast uns den Aufenthalt in Manaus mit Stadtbesuchen, Ausflügen und einem herrlichen Nachtessen fantastisch verkürzt und hochinteressant gestaltet.
